- Finally a furler for small boats (under 20 feet). CDI call it the Flexible Furler
1. It'll fit over your already in place jibstay, and will use a built-in halyard.
This little but how convenient thing will hold most genoas - check if it'll hold
yours before buying! You can contact them at 978-922-2322.

- Here is a nice (very nice) idea for a sailing vacation. Even in winter. The
Sea of Cortez - located between the Baja peninsula (Baja California) and the mainland
Mexico - is said to be one of the most extraordinary places to visit. Mexicans call
the peninsula "el otro mundo" ("another world"), and the views are
really breathtaking. Sailing there is made easier by many anchorages, easy access to
anything you might need (like food, or gas, or sightseeing places), and lots of sea life,
including plentiful fish. Among other attractions there is whale and dolphin
watching, a huge number of birds, and enormous and unique cacti on the peninsula.
One thing that really did it for me is that of the 29 islands, only two are
inhabited! So there is the possibility of making your dream come true: landing on an
uninhabited island...
